Just in case the sarcasm is lost on you, this outfit is at worst a coded commentary on hypocrisy in religion and at it’s most brilliant best haute couture nose-thumbing at an entire society that would ignore and condone centuries of senseless abuse in the name of religion but then straight set fire to a black woman making commentary with a provocative and conceptually challenging outfit. You’re just mad cause she made you work for it. 

this is commitment. nicki is committed to the entire role. i really dig it.

i love it in the context of her performances of sexuality, i love it in the context of sexuality within the catholic church, i love it because she is provocative while being completely covered up, i love her insertion of herself into a white male sphere, i love her goddamn beautiful face, i love the white dude as a fucking prop, an accessory to her beauty and brilliance.
